During my recent stay at Chayote Lodge, I found the experience to be a delightful blend of nature and comfort. The hotel's location on a hill provided stunning views of San Jose, offering a peaceful retreat from the city. The room, though not luxurious, was tastefully decorated with a coffee theme that added a unique touch. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring.One aspect that stood out was the attentive and friendly staff. They were accommodating and went out of their way to assist guests, which added a personal touch to the stay. The food served at the restaurant was satisfactory, but not exceptional. The basic breakfast included was sufficient to start the day.In terms of amenities, Chayote Lodge offers essential services such as free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and laundry facilities. However, it lacks some of the more luxurious offerings found in higher-end hotels. The hotel's remote location may not appeal to all travelers, but for those seeking a peaceful escape surrounded by nature, it is ideal.Chayote Lodge provides a good value for those looking to experience Costa Rica's beauty without breaking the bank. While it may not offer the extravagance of a luxury hotel, the serene atmosphere and attentive staff make it a worthwhile choice for nature lovers and budget-conscious travelers alike.
